Installation of finishing profiles (quick assembly)

At the beginning, we put a profile between the two joined surfaces, checking if the profile has the right width and determining its most convenient position. Then, thoroughly vacuum the substrate to remove sand and dust.

  1. Measure and mark the spaces between the fixing screws on the floor - ideally every 20 or 30 cm, then drill holes with a diameter of 6 mm each with a drill. Gently hammer the mounting dowels into the prepared holes.
  2. Insert the attached nails into the guideway of the finishing profile.
  3. Then place the nails with the profile in the dowels previously installed in the floor.
  4. Use a rubber mallet or your hand to affixthe profile to the floor. To prevent it from being damaged or deformed, a piece of plank or panel should be placed where the hammer blows.
